ABOUT ME

THE BASICS

Hello, I’m Christina (Tina) Lucas and I’m currently a post-undergraduate student from the University of Kentucky. My Degree is in Health Society and Populations where I’m aspiring to eventually attend Graduate school to earn my master's in Public Health or Psychology. I am an amateur blogger, who is trying to chase my dreams and partially live off the internet. I created this platform for it to be a sanctuary for candid convocations' about my journey to becoming *that* girl, to provide tips and tricks for you guys to become your best self, sharing my thoughts on God, fashion, sports, hair, and whatever else pops up in my curly-headed mind.

THE LONG STORY

Growing up my parents always video recorded special events; they were the OGs in vlogging before vlogging became a trend. During my childhood, I would get excited to have my parents vlog my sibling's and I's lives because I was fascinated by the idea of watching those videos when I got older. High school was when I first was introduced to blogs and social media. I created a Tumblr and would take extra elective technology classes to learn photoshop and design as a hobby. I knew in high school that I wanted to eventually start being creative through the internet but was very shy. I also didn't really know where being creative would take me financially which is why in college I pursued a health-related degree. However, I didn't abandon my creative side. I joined student organizations where I got to dabble in marketing and design. Also, my current job allows me to be creative; because of this job, I decided to officially launch a blog. My current job is so flexible that I have the time to blog when I want and is giving me unique opportunities to in a way work from home by blogging becoming a second stream of income.

Blogging for me is very therapeutic, as it has gotten me through some pretty rough seasons. I don't expect anything major from my blog outside of it being a creative outlet where I get to type up my personal milestones and showcase my work. I am also very introverted and wanted my friends and followers to get a snippet of my personality.
